Notes for Susan Ophelia RYLAND

Susan "Susie" Ophelia Ryland was first married to a Dr. Charles Ware to
whom was born Christina Ware. Dr. Ware died after six months of
marriage. She then married a Mr. Lucas with whom two children were
born. She was married to Cyrille LaBorde on February 6, 1896 and they
had five children. It was said that Susie reared at least 24 children
from her marriages, not all of which were her own.

The 1920 Census lists Susie O. Laborde in Rapides Parish, Township
Lamourie, Roll T625_626 page 9A ED 60., Family 106.
