Notes for Moses LeRoy DORRILL
Moses Le Roy Dorrill was a newspaperman from Georgetown, SC where he was
editor and proprietor of "The Georgetown Comet Newspaper". This
newspaper began publication on Wednesday, December 20, 1876. "The Comet"
was united with "The Times" on September 19, 1989 and given an new name,
"The Times and Comet", with Josiah Doar and Moses LeRoy Dorrill as owners.
